The flyboard is known also as the water rocket that is connected to a device shaped like a jet ski. The jet ski used provides thrust to the flyboard riders making it simply fly but still safe. Furthermore, the way a keyboard works is the same as other jet ski rides. It uses a water jet propulsion mechanism.

Meanwhile, on a jet ski, water jet propulsion is on the back area of the device. It allows the jet ski to run on the water surface. On the other hand, on the keyboard, the jet nozzles are attached to shoes with a special design. It is with a water jet propulsion applied to the shoes. This is how riders can fly above the water surface. Additionally, the shoes are also connected to a jet ski using a hose. This water hose pushes the water from under the shoe. It makes the flyboard rider to be pushed and fly upwards of up to 10 meters. After the user flies, the rider can hold the balance while flying.
